Description
This is a rare item. Back in the sixties the Hawk Model Company produced a series of
far out models designed after the unique artwork of Bill Campbell. These crazy looking characters
became a fad craze, and all the teen boys were putting them together.
Originally there were six of these crazy models.
Digger, Drag Hag, Endsville Eddie, Huey's Hut Rod, Daddy and Davey.
In 1964 Gary Usher of Beach Boy fame joined with Jimmy Haskell to produce this record
in conjunction with the successful model craze.
This is Music to Build Models By.
This all fit in with the California Beach Scene / Hot Rod / Surfer / Music that was a
cultural phenomenon. I dig it!
This record is in good condition, with no visible damage.
The sleeve is in good condition as well, with some worn areas around the edges.
Originally this record contained an inner sleeve with the words to the songs, but it has not
made it to this auction.
