Description
The Southern University Jazz Ensemble- Live at the 1971 American College Festival Conducted by Alvin Baptiste. This may very well be the best example of this rare record to ever come up for auction. It is still sealed and i would rate the sleeve VG++/NM- the only defect i see are some small brown spots along the top seam. I cant really tell if it is dirt on seal or on cover. Included up close picture.
Checking popsike a sealed pressing of this record has never become available before. Combine that with the fact it had one owner, who built a special room just to house his massive vinyl collection, so you know it has been in a climate controlled area, and that is why I believe I am not too far out of bounds saying this is the most pristine version of this record to ever come up for sale. And because of the record being kept in climate controlled storage throughout the years I think there is almost no chance the record is warped, none of the others from this collection have been so i stand by the Mint grading.
