The Special AKA War Crimes 7" Acetate Specials 2 Tone.
This 7" acetate was made in advance of the debut single by the post Fun Boy Three Special AKA. It followed releases with Rhoda and Rico credited as featured solo artistes.
This item is 1 sided and is billed as The Specials AKA. It was produced by The Sound Clinic
It comes with a standard picture sleeve for the commercial release but that is not likely to be an original feature.
NB AS WITH ALL ACETATES THIS IS FOR COLLECTORS ONLY. BUYERS SHOULD NOT EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO REGULARLY PLAY IT.
I am reluctantly selling this item from my own 2 Tone collection and will also be listing an acetate by The Higsons soon. There may also be a couple by the Specials and The Selecter, but I need to find them so please check other listings of mine over the next few weeks.
I have not regularly sold on eBay for years, but if you look at my feedback you will see that I collect Terry Hall and Viz Comic and have a really good feedback record.
Regardless of what the listing may say, it is my intention to post this item within the UK using Royal Mail Special Delivery to make sure both the buyer and I are covered if the item is damaged or lost in transit. There will be no extra cost to the buyer for this. I will not post overseas because of the idiots who chose to put barriers in the way by changing the UK from part of the EU to Rest of the World.
