The Special AKA - Gangsters / The Selecter - The Selecter - 7" 'Ruby Red' Vinyl Single.
TT1 - The Specials - Gangsters. TT2 - The Selecter - The Selecter.
This single was released in 1979 and is extremely rare as not only does it have the 1st Pressing Paper Label, but when you hold it up to the sun it glows 'Ruby Red' !!!
It has the 'Porky Prime' matrix runout.
The runout says - A side - 'A PORKY PRIME CUT TT 1-4' B side - 'A PORKY PRIME CUT TT 2-4'
The dark red is really hard to capture on photographs because you have to hold it up to a really bright light source to see its a 'Ruby Red' and then when you lay the record down to photograph it it looks like a normal black vinyl. I couldn't get a decent photo holding it up to the sun as it over exposes the camera, however I've manage to capture it slightly in photo 1 but it doesn't do it justice.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ Condition, The sleeve is the original 2Tone Factory Sleeve and is in Very Good Condition. This record also comes in a new outer plastic sleeve (see last photo).
