Description

Here's a scarce private-press single from the Chicago area by The Sterlings: "Hey Boy" b/w "Gonna Be Alright" (Stereo-Sonic 31064). I've seen it listed as being released in October 1964. "Gonna Be Alright" falls into the R&B/Soul category with some horns, while "Hey Boy" is harder to classify for me, but has been described as popcorn.

The vinyl grades VG- with plenty of scuffs and several scratches. It plays with background noise through "Hey Boy." "Gonna Be Alright" is a more up-tempo song with plenty of percussion that drowns out the noise except for a couple brief quiet spots. The label shows some rubbing.
