One of the rarest Stone Roses items!
In 1988 the Stone Roses had agreed a one single deal with Geoff Travis's legendary Rough Trade label. Silvertone Records then came along to offer the band an album deal and the Rough Trade was release was cancelled , however some sleeves for the record had already been pressed up. This is one of them. It is extremely rare.
It differs from the Silvertone sleeve as it has a Rough Trade catalogue number RTT215 and you will also notice that 'Elephant Stone' is printed in outline rather than solid lettering on the front sleeve.
The sleeve has a few small signs of wear and is graded Excellent condition.
This is a sleeve only item.
