Description

The Stone Roses LP Vinyl First Album - 120g 1989 - Very good condition. I have owned this for 32 years(!) I also have the CD, which is what I actually play. I have photographed the small crease on the top back of the main sleeve, but otherwise it is immaculate. It has always lived in a poly sleeve. Stored upright, no sun fading. If you bid on this, you probably have your own opinions, but I am going to carry on typing anyway.
This band inspired Liam to form Oasis. There was nothing but early house music, Jive Bunny and Milli Vanilli being played at the time and I'd resorted to listening to Led Zepellin and Roxy. Even though that was old man's stuff. Then this came out and it seemed unrelated to anything else going on and was really good - technically astonishing given how young they were. It is still one of the few albums I don't have to skip tracks on. Liam didn't manage that. I can't see how anyone can listen to I am the Resurrection without immediately buying a guitar. The splashy artwork is by the guitarist, rather pre-dating Ed Sheeran's latest 'efforts' (see, no swearing). Actually, thinking about it, the Mondays were going by 1989, but I struggled with them a bit.
Anyway, if you collect vinyl, this is a good'un and no condition issues.
