Description

An original 1967 Satanic Majesties on UK Decca. Matrix P1 - i.e. the 1st true mono mix (not folddown). The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover with lenticular image. Many copies degrade over the years - this example looks very nice.. The original inner sleeve is also included.
Vinyl (Ex-) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can make out a few light marks - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation per side Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. All I could detect wasslight backgroubd in one of the fussier  sections per side. Nothing upfront or intrusive. A couple of ticks in one spot per side too. Overall well preserved and highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has not been abused like many copies. THE Lenticular is in nice.condition witout contortion, cracking, or frosting. Nice and clean front and rear. A bit of light edge wear in the odd spot, but nothing that noticeable. Interior isxsuperb and unmarked. The text on the spine is all legible with a touch of wear in places. Overall the cover still retains very good rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) a couple of splits repaired. Otherwie very nice.
