Description
On offer here is a very rare French 1st pressing of the self titled Stooges album! This one was issued with the Gold/Tan label and in a beautiful front laminated and flip-back sleeve. The front has the additional 'Pop Music' explosion in the artwork on the upper left and the back has a completely different but really nice design/artwork.
Condition: The cover is very clean VG++ with a only a couple of light creases to the front and small amount of edge wear to bottom opening edge, there is a 1.5 inch split to the centre of spine where the record has pushed through at some point though, the text is still clear and it does not detract from a great looking cover. The vinyl is visually a VG+ or better on both sides with a few light scratches and paper scuffs to both, it does however play much better! more like VG++.
Overall this is a very nice copy of a very rare album by one of best bands ever!
