Description
Here I have for sale the vinyl record, "Funhouse" by The Stooges. The album was originally released in 1970, however I believe this is a Canadian reissue from around 1978 to 1980. I will try to describe the record as best to my ability. I have sold records before, and typically have not had a problem. I will provide details below about the record. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I will respond as soon as I can.
The Stooges- Funhouse
- Canadian Reissue on Red Small letter E on Elektra label.
- Stereo
- CAT# EKS-74071
- Released around 1980
Record jacket/Cover: I will grade the jacket cover as Very Good (VG). The jacket has no splits. No tape. No writing. Relatively well taken care of, which is odd for this record. Some light ringwear. Some wear to the spine. Title still visible. The biggest issue with the jacket is that it has what appears some water damage in the back side of the jacket near the opening to put the record inside. It is not very noticeable until you feel it or inspect it in the light. Also there is a small tear in the inside of the gatefold. Overall not a bad looking jacket. Still serves its function and looks rather nice. The gatefold record jacket is textured. No barcode.
Record: I will grade the record as Very Good Plus (VG+). Visually the record looks really nice. There is almost no scratches, except for a few very light and superficial ones. A few superficial scuffs. Really shiny and reflective. I can feel no scratches with my finger. The record sounds really nice as well. little to no surface noise. An occasional subtle crackle or possibly a tick. Nothing disturbing. Music is loud. Very enjoyable copy. No skips. Clean and bright labels.
Don't miss out on this seminal PUNK classic and essential album for any fan of the stooges or Iggy Pop. A definite influential album for the Punk and Post Punk rock genres.
Original copies are expensive and are usually beat up. Here is a cheaper and nice conditioned alternative until you get that priced pressing!
Please leave positive feedback. Thanks.
