This is the Original New Zealand pressing of the Stooges classic 1st LP. And hey it is in great condition too! And yes I also had never known of it's existence either.

This New Zealand pressing has a laminated front cover, with flip back seams, and a matt finish to the back of the sleeve.

The sleeve is nice and straight, bar one light corner crease, a little wear to the corners, a record store sticker on the back bottom right corner, previous owners name written, and what i assume to be the owner before's name blacked out, some light handling stains on the matt white rear sleeve.

The vinyl is nice and glossy, only a few light hairlines and a couple of very light scuffs, plays nice and clean, sounds killer!

Labels clean with only a handful of spindle trails.

Perhaps your only opportunity to bag this rarity.

GRADING

Just a quick note on my grading:

NM = Near Mint : record and jacket in exceptional condition - virtually same as a new copy

EX = Excellent-: record and jacket appears in excellent condition - closer examination will show evidence of ownership - lonely scuffs which does not affect play - no undue surface noise - full glossy surface - only a few spindle hole marks

VG+ = Very Good Plus: record shows a few scuffs and surface scratches causing occasional ticks - bright and clean surface - spindle hole marks; jacket with edge/ring wear - bended corners - stickers - cut-outs - mechanical defaults as described
