Description
Artist: The Stooges
Title: Self Titled
Year: 1969
Cat # Elektra EKS-74051
Vinyl : VG+/NM
Cover: VG
Comments: First 1969 pressing. Terre Haute, Indiana plant. Vinyl has a few very light sleeve swipes here and there. These do not affect playback. These are just the types of swipes you get from have a paper inner sleeve. Nothing that can be felt by the fingernail. The labels are almost flawless. You have to have it at the right angle to see any signs of spindle wear.
The cover suffers a little from having a punch mark. Hard to believe it now, but there was a time when Stooges records went to the bargain bin. Please zoom in on photos of the cover for complete detail. Seams are all intact, no splits. Hard to find an original Stooges record with vinyl in this condition. Any questions feel free to ask.
All records are shipped in heavy corrugated record mailers.
My $4 shipping price is for the Con. US. Only. Canadian bidders pay $9, please contact me for invoice. All other destinations will be a flat rate of $21.50.

**** NOTE TO BUYERS****
I use the Goldmine record grading system, which is detailed below. Cover's and vinyl are graded separately and may not fall into the same category. If you would like more info about a particular title, please ask. I check Ebay often and will try to get back to you promptly.
M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and unplayed.
NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. Also may have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at discount.
VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, or small seam splits.
G (GOOD) - Vinyl has moderate, ever wear throughout, but still playable. Surface noise and scratches. A cover or sleeve will has large seam splits. especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the cover.
P (POOR) - Lowest Grade. Audible scratches, etc. on more than half the tracks. Listening uncomfortable. The sleeve is water damages, split on all three seams or heavily marred by wear and writing.
