The Stranglers 1977 Trident Studios Acetate Choosey Susie 10 inch.
Here is my genuine 1977 acetate for the single given away with the first copies of the Stranglers seminal album Rattus Norvegicus, or was it Stranglers IV....?
The last acetate in my collection I have for sale, having sold many blue chip items recently. Bid with confidence. Check out my 100%positive sellers feedback.
The acetate is in EX condition, showing no signs of wear. These acetate records were not made for many plays, they were made for bands and records companies to review mixes of tracks before committing to vinyl.
As such these would have been cut directly from the master tapes.
The second hole, offset from the center spindle hole, was often a feature on acetates as the disc needed to be driven as the grooves were cut.
This is a one sided disc.
In fabulous condition worthy of a place on the top table of anyone’s collection.
Collectible by both 1977 punk collectors as well as Stranglers collectors.
Bid with confidence, I have 100% positive seller feedback as I have sold many blue chip items recently.
Please do not ask for a buy it now price. I always start my auctions low and let them run until the end. The highest bidder will own this incredible item next Sunday.
Any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Good luck.
Please check out my other Stranglers items.
