The Stranglers – 1977 Vinyl Bundle Promo Copies 3 x 45s Grip, Heroes & More

	£		250
	$		331

Description

Here we have an excellent set of not one, not two, but THREE Stranglers singles, originally released during punk's heyday: the year 1977!
Each of the singles is a super-rare PROMO COPY (i.e. made available to the media in limited numbers and not sold to the general public).
The labels bear the message DEMONSTRATION RECORD NOT FOR SALE (see scans)

This was an extraordinarily creative period for Messrs Cornwell, Burnell, Black and Greenfield, and each of these Stranglers A-sides (not to mention the Bs) is a certifiable punk-rock classic!
The singles are:
(Get A) Grip (On Yourself) / London Lady – The band's debut single, released in January 1977, cat. no. United Artists UP 36211
Something Better Change / Straighten Out – Released in July 1977, cat. no. United Artists UP 36277
No More Heroes / In The Shadows – Released in September 1977, cat. no. United Artists UP 36300
Each of the 45s comes in a picture sleeve.
