The Sugar Cubes, Life’s Too Good, 1988 ~ Elektra 60801-1 12” 33⅓-RPM Vinyl LP
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For auction is the album Life’s Too Good by the Sugar Cubes. This is a 12” 33⅓-RPM LP released by Elektra in 1988. This has their mega-hit, Birthday, as well as ten other songs. This has the blue cover, which was much less common than the green cover. It took me a couple of decades to figure out that the scribbles are anatomically correct renditions of a man and a woman. This band from Iceland had at least one follow-up album, but this is the only one that was a success. A sticker shows I bought it for $8.99 from the soulless, heartless, hated Strawberry Records chain.
Pre-owned by myself and no one else, I see no scratches or faults on either side of the record. (I should have brushed the record clean for the picture.) The spindle hole shows little sign of wear. You can see the reflection of the branches of a tree against the sky with this record. Playing is perfect. Condition is Very Good++ (VG++).
How about the record cover and the sleeve? It is fair to call this record cover Very Good++ (VG++). That is an extremely conservative evaluation. I’m cheating myself. The shrink wrap is still on the cover. I see a single fault only under high magnification. The paper liner/sleeve is original. The sleeve is in Near Mint (NM) condition.
I am not very familiar with the newer payment methods but eBay can probably accommodate you however you want to do it. Contact me before bidding if you have a question about paying though I imagine eBay can tell you more than I can.
For buyers outside the United States, customs and import taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the buyer.
The package will be labeled Merchandise, not Gift.
I usually send out items within a day of receiving payment but several things could slow me down. I don’t like to send things to an address other than the one provided by eBay. Being a verified buyer and having a confirmed address can help.
