ARTIST: The Sunday Funnies
LABEL: Skoop 1070
TITLE: Sunny Covington Avenue b/w It Won't Happen To You
CONDITION:
Labels: Side A is very nice w/ just a touch of wear. Side B has just a little wear and a tear (shown in second picture).
Record: This record has been played a lot as evidenced by lots of light surface scuffs & some marks but no real scratches and plays a great Mint- / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Not sure if this is the same Sunday Funnies that recorded for Rare Earth but I'm assuming that they are and that this is an earlier small label release. The label reads that it is part of Showboat Records from Santa Claus, Indiana!! Both songs were written by Gary McShara. The A Side is a mid to uptempo track w/ cool Psych guitar. The B Side is a midtempo track w/ cool guitar as well.
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records !
