This is the LAST REMAINING BOX of 25 records that originally shipped in the larger box (pictured) of 100. From original band member's collection. This record was recorded in early 1967 at a private studio in St. Louis Park, Minnesota ( suburban Minneapolis ) and 1000 copies were pressed by arrangement with Dove Recording Studios. The Surfers were a popular teen band at the time playing regularly for teen dances in the western suburbs of Minneapolis ca. 1966-'68, and appearing on local Minneapolis TV ( channel 11 ) shortly after making this record in 1967. Band members were all from the Hopkins-Minnetonka Mills area and aged 13 to 15 at the time this record was made. Record features vocals, two guitars, organ, bass and drums.
