Description
Rare original 1966 US pressing of The Swinging Machine garage rock single, "Comin' On Back Home" b/w "Do You Have To Ask", released on S.P.Q.R. Records (Catalog #1001). Produced by Frank Guida in Norfolk, Virginia, this regional 45 is legendary for 1960s garage and punk collectors.
Condition Details:
Vinyl (VG+): Strong playback with crisp fidelity. Styrene surface shows only light, minor scuffs. Deadwax matrix numbers (ZTSP 12235 / ZTSP 12236) are sharp and fully legible.
Labels (VG): Yellow S.P.Q.R. labels exhibit light ballpoint pen handwriting ("Bill, Jay, Cahis, Baker (or maybe Babe)") from a previous owner, typical of vintage regional collection or station copies. No major tears, stickers, or deep gouges.
Sleeve: Ships in a generic white paper sleeve and outer sleeve (original company sleeve not included), with proper protection. Returns accepted but no partial refunds.
