For sale is this UK (pressed in France as all copies were) original vinyl DIY post-punk compilation album entitled The Thing From The Crypt (I Nearly Died Laughing). It contains 16 tracks (see track listing below) and is housed in a hand silkscreened wraparound sleeve. Also included is the original 12-page folded booklet and two-colour advertising leaflet along with a review cut from Sounds dated January 2 1982 (see pics). On The Thing From The Crypt Records label, the catalogue number is TTFTC 001 and the date of issue is 1981.
Condition
The vinyl is in Mint & Unplayed.
The labels are in Mint condition.
The booklet and leaflet are in Excellent condition.
The wraparound cover is in Very Good condition with slight creasing and indentation marks and some very light stains/discolouration marks but these are not badly noticeable (see pics).
All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
