This is the legendary original 1969 first pressing of South African ultra rare psych progThe Third Eye`s  debut album on Polydor Records, catalogue number 277002. Loads of swirling Hammond organ and fuzz guitars with killer versions of Dylan/Hendrix "All along the watchtower", Rhinoceros` "Apricot brandy"  and  an apocalyptic folk rock take on "Morning Dew"- a real superb gem ! Vinyl is in VG+ condition, there are a few marks, inner sleeve scuffs and light clicks and pops plus some surface noise at the beginning of a few track but still very playable. Sleeve: This is a gate fold sleeve, as usual with records of this time from South Africa the cover lamination was put on too tight, resulting in bubbling and warping of the lamination, especially on the back (front has a little touch in the left corner. You can ease this by piercing the lamination but I will leave this to the buyer if they wish. I have graded it VG to VG+ because of this. Note: There is a gold & red sample sticker on the A side of the label, it clearly originates from a radio station or record company library. I will leave the removal of this to the buyer.

Even with it`s faults this is a great collectors item and is a must for global prog rock fans.

Records grading

NEAR MINT : Record will look and play nearly as new.
EX+ : Record may have slight visual defects and have one or two very minor light scuffs which dont affect play
EX : Record has minor scuffs or may have one or two very slight marks, might play with one or two light pops or clicks
EX - : Record may have some slight scratches and one or two light marks but nothing too deep. Plays with slightest crackle in places or one or two quiet pops or clicks
VG+ : Record has light scratches and will have marks that sound but generally still sounding strong with a few clicks and pops.
VG : Record has scuff marks/scratches which effect play with many clicks and pops.
GOOD : Record has many marks and scratches and will effect play and sound terrible, record might be cracked and will be mentioned in listing.

Shipping- All vinyl records are packaged outside of the covers in new soft plastic anti static inner sleeves to avoid seam splits, wrapped in special bubble pack material , placed between  top and bottom LP sized cardboard sleeves and then packed in custom made vinyl boxes.

Standard International airmail postage costs from South Africa to the rest of the world are high and do not carry a tracking number. Single LP shipments are $20, additional LP`s cost an extra $6 each. Delivery time is generally 11-23 days. Should you require a tracking number we suggest using a courier service, prices on request.
