Description
The Thought Criminals – Food For Thoughtcrimes
5 track ep rare, 1979, Australian Punk in picture sleeve, numbered 0133 kbd
The Thought Criminals from Sydney were the thinking person’s punk band, combining thrashing punk riffs with almost pop appeal, and intelligent, witty, urban lyrics. They were art punk, without the pretentiousness.
Side A: More Suicides Please – only the Thought Criminals could make suicide sound like fun. Side A: The Cut Out Man – or make a sad existence sound good. Side A: Delay Response Action – love is a chemical reaction.
Side B: So All The Heroes – superheroes want to be normal, they want our lives.
Side B: Stolen Air – what is life about?
Released on their own Doublethink records (who would release other Sydney bands) the disc is in excellent condition and comes from the original owner in the original picture sleeve (numbered 0133) with enclosed lyric sheet.
