Description
Signed copy of the Titans record from 1957. Four of the original members have signed this on the "A" side, Charles Wright, Curtis McNear(later to change his name to Curtis McNair, then to Curtis Knight), Al Branom, Sam Barnett("King Sam 1st Tenor"), and by their manager on the "B" side, Cecil "Count" Carter, who was an LA club owner, but more importantly, a well known jazz musician who recorded with many of the greats in the '50's & '60's.
The vinyl is not in good shape. It has led a rough life as I bought it with a stack of other records not in sleeves. The A side is really noisy and scratched, and the value of this record is in the signatures of these singers from the early 60's who almost made it, but are well known in the industry. "Count" Carter's signature is the real thing and nearly impossible to find!
Please refer to the pictures and ask any questions you may have, I will answer as quickly as possible. I will combine winning bids, and overseas buyers, please wait for an invoice, as it is more expensive to ship to you. Thanks for looking!
