The Troggs 'Cellophane' POL 003 Page One Vinyl LP in Very good Condition RARE
The vinyl is in very good shape and the sound is good but is has a lot of fine hairlines - what I call 'surface marks', not because they are on the surface but because it has been put down on a surface probably many times back in the 60's! Anyway although there are hairlines and light scratches this is actually very listenable, the mono pressing and deep grooves are forgiving of marks and the sound is good with just light/med underlying crackle. On my deck there is a small skip on 'little red donkey' but I can't easily see the mark that is causing it, there is a very light mark but it is very light so this may play through on some decks and not others.. 'Love Is All Around' plays fine but does sound more played than the other tracks. The cover is fine, no rips or damage, some light creasing on the front laminate and some age related discolouration on the back. Overall a listenable copy, many light marks, no damage to the sleeve, light noise evident in play.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
CD's are similarly graded though the Jewel case is disregarded in grading. The grading applies to the media and the insert. Cassettes will simply be described in their playing condition and are all tested.
