Cellophane
UK mono pressing LP released in 1967 by Page One Records, catalogue number POL003. This is an unusual mispressing of the album in that it is a mono issue but was pressed with stereo labels.
Matrix numbers:
Side 1: POL 003 1L?2 420 11 2
Side 2: POL 003 2L?2 420 11 3
Condition:
The album has been pressed with stereo labels POLS003 in error and to rectify this mistake, mono stickers were originally attached to cover up the stereo label text. Unfortunately these have since fallen off the labels but I still have them and have included a scan with this advert.
The labels are clean with no tears or writing, both show signs of play with spider marks around the centre hole.
Both sides of the vinyl retain a nice just pressed look, side 1 track 6 has a light superficial scratch which does not interfere with the playback. Side 2 track 1 has a light mark running across it, nothing deep or major, plays through without any clicks or pops. Both sides play without any skips or jumps, some light crackle between tracks and at the beginning, I heard three light clicks throughout all the playback. A nice copy and not a bad piece of vinyl for 54 years old - play graded excellent.
Comes in its original front laminated flip-back sleeve. The laminate is all intact, the flip-backs and the spine are fully intact and all print can be clearly seen, some corner wear on all four corners, nothing major, some edge wear along the top about 3/4 inch long, no tears or writing.
