Description
The Trojan Story 3x Vinyl LP - Original 1971 UK press NM/EX w/inner Ska Reggae.
Rare to find original 1971 1st pressing of “The Trojan Story” triple compilation LP, recently re-issued as a 50th anniversary edition.
The compilation features great tracks from the start of Trojan Records through to 1971 and includes Calypso, Ska, Rocksteady, etc from the cream of Jamaican artists.
The vinyl is in superb NEAR MINT condition. It has no marks or scuffs of any kind and could only have been played a handful of times. I have fully play tested it and it plays perfectly throughout.no deterioration in sound at all. Pressed on nice thick (140g?) vinyl too! The labels are clean with no wear at all around the spindle holes, etc. NM
The original matt fold out cardboard sleeve is EX. A little light wear to the corners as shown. Certainly still in superb condition for a 51 year old record sleeve. EX
All three original plain white inners are EX too!
Comes with its original double sided insert with notes on each of the recordings. This has been folded over on one corner which has a crease (see photos). No other issues - VG+
Overall it would be very very hard to find a better original copy!
