Description
This is a RARE live 1967 recording of 'The Undertakers', 1960's garage band from Northeastern Oklahoma. This was recorded at The Joker in Cleveland, Oklahoma. Performance recorded with two Sony mics on 1/4-inch tape which perfectly captures what it was like to be in a low paid, but awesome and popular band in 1967. 1000 were pressed in 2012 as a private pressing to give to friends, fans and family but it was soon realized that they needed to get out into the world for collectors and music lovers alike. Of the 1000, 100 were numbered, hand signed by all the members of the band and included a set of reproduction concert handbills and reproduction business cards. Those are long sold out. 500 standard copies went to Europe and Japan, the rest were distributed across the States. We have a limited number of the 400 US 'Standard' copies which is what we are selling. On 200gr vinyl Pressed on the now defunct ' In Person Records' label. In 2013 Burger Records reissued the LP into cassette and those also have sold out.
