Hello from purplegallinule - I am a vinyl enthusiast and have been buying, selling and trading records since the mid-1970s and I have always applied high standards and taken extremely good care of my vinyl.
All the records are wet vacuum cleaned before being thoroughly play tested and housed in brand new high quality poly-lined inner and protective outer sleeves.
Although considerably more of a music fan than an expert, I certainly know my way around vinyl records well enough to say that you can buy from me with confidence and with also being a collector, my policy is simple - if I wouldn't be happy to slide absolutely any of these records straight into my own personal collection then they will not be listed for sale on here - all I would ask of you is for a chance to put things right in the unlikely event that you are not fully satisfied.
All records are sent out a.s.a.p. and packaged thoroughly in bespoke mailers with rigid card stiffeners to avoid any creasing or bumped corners and I am always very happy to combine postage.

'The Unique Thelonious Monk' - 1961 pressing vinyl album in excellent condition. The run outs are etched RLP 12 209 A-3 / B-3.
The vinyl is in excellent condition with only very light superficial hairlines and the odd faint little scuff visible in bright light and this visual condition is well reflected in the excellent playback. There is a little 'milkiness' to the appearance of the vinyl at certain angles, though this is merely a quirk of the pressing.
The heavy stock sleeve is just showing a little corner wear, but barring this is in excellent condition with a nice sharp, square and fully readable spine.
All in all, a really excellently preserved copy of this 60 year old vinyl album.
