Description
Here's an original pressing 45 by The Valentines on Sound Stage 7 label # 2663.White Label Promo label.Songs titled Breakaway on one side and has If You Love Me on the other side.This is a puzzling 45 to me as in appearance it looks very nice but the Breakaway side has a skipping problem.Looking at it visually it doesn't appear it should skip as much as it does.At any rate the Breakaway side has a couple of very light scratches with 1 deeper feelable scratch near beginning that only touches first 6 or 7 grooves.I'm guessing this is the reason for the first 3 skips at very beginning of song on first 10 seconds of song.Also has 1 very small groove pit mark which may cause another skip.But there's 4 other skips at various times where I'm not sure why as I see no marks or scratches that would cause this.All in all there is a total of 8 skips throughout song which includes the 3 in the very beginning of song.No Background hiss and no pops but the skips are annoying.Small amount of very light to light scuffing.Side also has some groove wear but still has decent shine on grooves.The If You Love Me side has a few very light to light scratches and a small amount of light scuffing.Side has some groove wear but still has good decent shine on grooves.This side plays Beautifully with no pops, and no ticks and no background hiss at all.When record was spinning on turntable I did notice a small edge warp.
