Description

  • Ultra Rare "The Velvet Underground And Nico" debut first album Verve 1968 
  • Original Andy Warhol Banana sticker intact.
  • This is the censored airbrushed back cover version.
  • Condition: Vinyl- VG- / Vinyl has visible scratches, no gouges. Cleaned and play-tested: plays through with no skips. Surface noise apparent, doesn't override music (except runs about equal in "I'll Be Your Mirror" and first half of of next song.) Still has a decent treble / bass response, grooves are NOT "played out." Labels are in VG+ shape-Please check photos.
  • Gate-fold Jacket: VG Front- Intact, affixed and nearly complete original Warhol banana sticker. Some age / shelf wear. Lower left corner abrasion. Back-some light stains, age/shelf wear. Interior-fairly good, small name written lower right edge. Other than shown, jacket has no splits. Please examine photos.
  • Inner Sleeve-VG Original Verve paper sleeve. Some age-toning.
  • Inner groove reads “V6-5008, Side 1, MGS-558, REV: and “V6-5008, Side 2, MGS-559-RE-1”.
