The Velvet Underground & Nico Verve Stereo V6-5008 - 1968
This was my introduction to The Velvet Underground back in about 1981. In the same condition today was it was when purchased. The vinyl has visual scratches and scuffs that are audible when played. It's kind of a rough album.
The cover is the third phase with the torso eliminated. The front and back have light soiling. The banana has been peeled. The spine is chipped, so the band's name is The Velvet U. The corners are good shape. There is a 4" split in the top seam. The inside of the gatefold is pretty nice. A little yellowing. I found a later repress in good condition that went to my son. I'm slowly selling down my collection.
Buy this record a get a pretty nice copy of The Velvet Underground Live at Max's Kansas City.
