Description
An MGM reissue of the debut classic by the Velvets from 1971. Matrix A1/B1. The vinyl comes housed in an original heavy card gatefold cover.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb shape and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. The audio quality is astoundingly good - perfect reproduction through all frequencies with bags of detail. Interference is minimal - all we detected was a touch of momentary light static at the start of side two. Other than that playback really is of a very high standard.
Cover (Ex-) Has been well cared for down the years. The front and rear are exhibiting a touch of light ageing, but other than that there's very little else noteworthy. Edge wear is light and overall the cover retains great rigidity. The spine is 100% intact. This is a superb original example.
