THIS IS THE RECORD FOR ANY COLLECTOR!!
The Velvet Undergound & Nico on Verve, number V-5008. THIS IS A YELLOW LABEL DJ PROMO (SEE PICTURE)
In 1967 Andy Warhol managed this infamous band and helped create this one of a kind cover.
This is the MONO Version. On he back you can see the inverted torso behind the band with Andy Warhol's photo in the center. The banana on the cover has been peeled revealing the pink, phallic banana.
The jacket is in decent condition, with some ringwear and a few dented corners...nothing major.
The inside gatefold is equally nice with the exception of a name written on the inside right part of the gatefold.
The record still has some great shine to it. There are some scratches on it however they appear to be minor as the record played through fine with no skips or jumps.
Included is the Original Verve Paper Sleeve.
Shipping anywhere in the US is $7, which is for 2 day prioriy mail with insurance. International bidders will depend on the country.
