Description
The Velvet Underground & Nico LP 1967 Verve Stereo Andy Warhol Original Banana Vinyl Record
*1967 Original V6-5008 Verve Stereo Press. Banana is intact and unpeeled. Gatefold copy.*
BUYER BEWARE: PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BELOW.
Disc: a nice playable copy overall (light scuffs and a few very light scratches that produce static and a few clicks in the play, does not repeat. *Side 1 there is a small scratch on tracks 1-2 that produce a click but did not skip or repeat on our player.* Label is clean and does not have spindle marks. Name printed on Side 1.)
Jacket: There is water damage along the bottom up about an inch (see pics). The printed paper is peeling off the cardboard where the damage is present. The “Andy Warhol” letters have some staining but are clear and not peeling. These areas should be handled with extreme care. The cardboard itself is still solid. The banana is complete unpeeled. There a couple of tiny tears on the stem, but the banana itself has never been disturbed. 3” inch split on bottom opening (we did not tape it.) Moderate yellowing on edges. Main picture on back is good. Band member pictures improve from left to right as damage decreases. Spine lettering is very clear. Tiny dents on the front, not on banana.
Vinyl contains generic white liner
