Description

NicoAlbum: The Velvet Underground & Nico (Self-Titled Debut)Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, GatefoldPressing: 1967 US Original First Pressing ("First State" / "Torso Cover")Label: Verve RecordsCollector's Note (The Rare "Torso Cover"):This is a highly sought-after, genuine 1967 first pressing featuring the completely unedited and uncensored back cover. It features the famous upside-down projection of actor Eric Emerson at the top of the jacket, floating directly over Lou Reed. This version was quickly recalled and altered due to legal threats, making this intact "First State" cover incredibly rare and collectible.🎵 Playback & Condition DetailsVinyl Condition: Good / Very Good Minus (G/VG-). The vinyl shows visible signs of handling, including surface marks and scuffs from age.Track 2 Playback ("I'm Waiting for the Man"): Please note that Track 2 has a visible scratch. It causes some audible noise and popping during playback, but it has been play-tested and plays through completely without any skips, sticks, or repeats.Rest of the Album: Plays through fully with typical vintage vinyl surface noise (crackles/pops) that is expected for an original 1967 pressing. It offers a great, authentic listening experience.
