Description

The Velvet Underground & Nico Verve Records LP V6-5008

Please check the new postal rates to your address before bidding! Especially international bidders! The Post Office raised them again in January 2013

The gatefold sleeve has a two inch split in the top seam at right corner and a split just starting to form in the center of the inside seam. About one half of the banana sticker is present. See photos for detail. There is some light mildew staining along top edges of the gatefold. The vinyl is VG MINUS at best with some light surface scuffs and scratches. It plays through without skipping and sounds fine for long stretches but there are some areas thatdisplay soft surface noise. The most noticeable sonic defects are 1. Soft crackle during the beginning of Sunday Morning and 2. A half inch long scratch at the beginning of "European Son" that causes a steady tic once per revolution for the duration of the scratch. Overall, this is an OK (not great) listening copy and is distinguished by the remains of the banana sticker on the cover.
