Very early 1st US East Coast MGM Record Manufacturing Division, Bloomfield, New Jersey plant pressing. Great edition with the uncensored 1st state version gatefold cover still remaining in its original "MAY CO RECORD DEPT." protective distributor baggy. Unpeeled Andy Warhol's banana sticker underneath the baggy and a fully visible Eric Emerson's torso on the back. ★ This Monaural East Coast release has the 1.25" pressing ring Verve Records misprint labels. Side B incorrectly indicates the timing for "I'll Be Your Mirror", 2:01 instead of 2:10. 1st print Verve Records blue labels with silver text and T-shape logo also contain the Monophonic catalog number V-5008. The full matrix numbers located in the runout groove of this very early 1st East Coast pressing vinyl are as follows: Side 1 - V-5008 Side 1 MG 558 Rev Block-looking "S" symbol 1C / Side 2 - V-5008 Side 2 MG-559 "8" symbol. ★ I grade the cover as Excellent Minus. It's very clean and doesn't contain any ring wear or writing. Some occasional scuffing on the edges with the corners having some light wear and soiling. There is some light age discoloration along the edges with the spine having some light age spots. The edges don't have any splits, only some light hints of it at the top and bottom right corner. The gatefold interior is in Near Mint Minus condition. The distributor baggy has preserved the banana sticker in a great condition. The original Verve Records inner sleeve is in Near Mint condition. I grade the vinyl as Very Good due to it having some light hairlines, marks and scuffs from the original inner sleeve. The clean blue and silver labels are in Excellent condition only having a few very light spindle marks visible under a strong light source. The vinyl plays very well throughout without any skips, only having some light background noise, which is most likely just static and would be reduced if the record is professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine.
