Among the different cover variations of this album one might come across the version with the airbrushed Emerson's "Torso" image and affixed lawsuit-threat sticker. I don't have the slightest idea regarding why the sticker was affixed to the cover even though Emerson's image was already airbrushed. Perhaps, they had these stickers in abundance and they didn't know what to do with them or were so afraid of the lawsuit that they simply decided to take an extra safety measure. In any case, this is a very early circa 1967-68 issue copy still in a factory sealed condition having Andy Warhol's banana sticker. All of the early examples of this album including this copy offer the owner to peel the banana skin supporting it with the "Peel Slowly and See" text at the top right corner of the front cover which in the case with this copy is covered by several record store discount stickers placed on the top of each other. These discount stickers are the consequence of the album turning out to be a financial failure and its sales being quite poor when it was released. One can only assume how many of these factory sealed copies of this album remain. The album is in impeccable Mint condition with some minor shelf wear and scuffing on the shrink wrap, which contains the original breathe holes on the front cover, remaining intact without any splits or tears.
