The Velvet Underground & Nico Verve V-5008 Stereo VG+/NM First Issue!.
You are bidding on a great playing first issue third state airbrushed back photo stereo V-5008. The banana is intact thought placed a bit off the top of the cover (see photos). Cover was punched to deny the band their due (per the unpopularity of this ahead-of-its-time record when first released) and the original inner is included (and confirmed by the same hole).
The cover looks like it was stored in a Times Square bookstore but that just adds to its character and there is a crease on the front cover through the bottom of the banana (suspect related to manufacture. The labels have some blurred printing (see photos).
I have play tested this record and playback is near mint, flawless.
Kept in an air-conditioned non-smoking environment.

On Oct-28-21 at 14:53:50 PDT, seller added the following information:I have been asked to add the matrix runout information on this record.
Side 1 small hand-etched: “V5008 side 1 MG558 rev” stamped “1C” two hand etched initials that honestly i can’t make out.
Side 2 small hand-etched: “V5008 side 2 MG559” “1C” and a difficult to make out hand-etched symbol, sideways 8?
That’s the best I can do to the limit of my vision.
