Description

The Velvet Underground & Nico, Vinyl LP -  Verve V/V6-5008

Cover design BANANA by Andy Warhol


I bought this LP in the 70s, played and enjoyed it, but it hasn’t been touched for 20 years or so. It has a gatefold sleeve and the Andy Warhol-designed Banana sticker - “Peel slowly and see”. This has a tear at the top when I tried to peel it but is otherwise intact. The photo on the rear is the airbrushed version.


There is a small plastic name sticker on rear cover top right. (see photo)


Overall, the cover shows its age but is good.  There is some splitting at seams (see photo).


Disc hasn’t been played for a while but no obvious marks or scratches.


Postage quoted is for UK. I will wrap with  bubble wrap and stiff card and send by Royal Mail. Europe or worldwide will  be extra - please ask.
