The Velvet Underground S/T LP 1st Pressing Cutout 1969 MGM SE-4617 Closet Mix

Ok, time for me to thin out some of the more valuable items I didn’t want to sell at total discount prices at the record conventions I sold most of my extra unwanted vinyl at.

I ship only to the Continental US.  No exceptions.  I don’t have the time or interest to ship elsewhere and I am willing to take whatever the market dictates at the time of sale.

If you require perfect mint condition records, my sales are not what you are looking for. All the records that I sell have been played at least a handful of times.

Here is a copy of The Velvet Underground S/T LP 1st Pressing Cutout 1969 MGM SE-4617 Closet Mix

I’ve owned this since maybe 1971 from Radio Doctor’s cutout bins.

Vinyl:  Good/Acceptable.  This copy was my first copy of this LP and has been highly played.  Light scratches, mediocre luster, but plays through with no problems.  But don’t expect super high fidelity from this LP—it’s just been played too much.  But it still plays through clean and sounds nice.

Cover Condition:  Good/Acceptable for its age and usage.  Heavy ringwear, edge scuffings and a cutout punch that I had to cut even so it didn’t scrape against other LP’s.

Inner Sleeve:  Original

Release Date:  1969

To repeat for clarity’s sake:  This is not for a collector who has the cash to buy mint/near mint LP’s to add to their collection.  This is more like a playable record for someone who actually wants to enjoy listening to the original version of this LP and not worry about diminishing the record’s value.

Please refer to the pictures -- what you see is what you get.  Whatever you see in the pictures should be taken as a final statement of the record condition/identifying info.

All albums are sold in as-is conditions based on descriptions and pictures.

Shipping is by USPS only.  No materials and handling charges--I have access to used/recycled high quality shipping containers/foam/bubble wrap and pack extremely well.

Please ask questions before bidding if my description in any way seems incomplete.

Also, please do not ask me for a “Buy-It-Now” price.  I always allow my auctions to run till the end and accept whatever the market determines at the time of sale.
