Description

The Velvet Underground - S/T MGM PROMO 1969 FIRST PRESS LP VINYL

Extremely rare very first East Coast promotional pressing of what is arguably The Velvet Underground’s hardest to find album. The runout on both sides exactly matches the yellow label promo submission on Discogs.

Vinyl Grade: G+

The record has some scratches on either side, but more so on side one. The worst one goes through Jesus, which has a repeated pop for the whole song, but it starts to diminish about halfway through the song. There’s some random spots of repeating pops and some spots of surface noise but the music is rarely overpowered. Before I cleaned this record there were three skips: one in Candy Says, one in Pale Blue Eyes, one in Afterhours. After a cleaning on my SpinClean the skips were gone.
