Here is a genuine original in pristine condition.  This is an amazing album with some great songs.   This is a collectors gem!  Includes the original custom inner sleeve.

 

Part of the MGM Special series. "Safety film" cover. 
This issue has a variant sleeve with blue border, and "SPECIAL PRICE SERIES" at the top in boxed white lettering. 
Artist and title appears simply as Velvet Underground on the front cover and only The Velvet Underground on the spine, labels have both artist and title as The Velvet Underground.
