Description
This is a 1971 re-release of The Velvet Underground - White Light/White Heat, released on MGM / Polydor in 1971
The record is in overall VERY GOOD+ condition. Let me explain: Most of the record plays extremely well, like its Very Good++. However,
there is one highly audible scratch during the song "Lady Godiva's Operation," which sounds more like Very Good. So for 85% of the record it's VG++, and for that one song, it's VG.
The jacket is in VERY GOOD++ condition. This thing is soooo close to perfect but it has two teensy tiny blemishes. They are both cases of minor blackening wear: some on the bottom of the front side, and a little bot in the middle of the rear side. It's the type of thing you don't see on first look, but is noticeable on deeper inspection. There is no edge wear or tears anywhere on this jacket.
The original inner sleeve is included in VERY GOOD++ condition. (The record will be shipped in a new, high quality, plastic lined inner sleeve for safety. The original inner sleeve is included, but will not be used to transport the record.)
This is a fantastic example of The Velvet Underground before digital mastering tampered with their sound.
