Description

The Velvet Underground and Nico Vinyl on MGM Records Gatefold Sleeve. This is the 1981 reissue. The record was originally released 1967 on Verve with a repress in 1971 on MGM in the UK This is the 1981 reissue on MGM. The Sleeve I would describe as VG+ with a small amount of discolouring and ringwear. I have graded the vinyl as VG. I would have shown it as VG+ apart from two visible scratches on the track 'There She Goes Again'(Side 2 Track 2) These produce some clicking on some of this track - otherwise plays well and overall is a nice copy of a 40 year old record.   'Verve Deluxe' is shown on the sleeve.Labels are MGM with Blue/Gold 70s design with cat# 2490 159 and credit The Velvet Underground And Nico; original matrices in the run-out area from an earlier mastering are crossed out. On the spine it reads: The Velvet Underground & Nico Produced By Andy Warhol Verve Deluxe 2490 159
