Description

Up for Auction is Andy Warhol's Velvet Underground featuring Nico Album from The Velvet Underground. Andy Warhol's Velvet Underground featuring Nico is a compilation album that contains tracks from the first three Velvet Underground albums. This double album is a treasure and listening to it on vinyl is the best way to appreciate it. The gatefold album also includes original art work from Andy Warhol. It is truly a work of art. This particular album is the 2nd U.K. pressing on Polydor from 1970. The vinyl grades conservatively at Near Mint for the first LP and Near Mint for the second LP. Side One has 2354010A//2 upside down triangle 420W -11 stamped in the deadwax. Side two has 2354010B//2 upside down triangle 420W -11 stamped on the deadwax. Side one of the 2nd LP has 2354011A//2 upside down triangle 420W -11 stamped on the deadwax. Side two of the 2nd LP has 2354011B//2 upside down triangle 420W -11 stamped on the deadwax. The first and second LP conservatively grade at NM and the playback is NM or better. Both LP's show no signs of any visual blemishes and the playback is brilliant. The LP labels are in great shape without any spindle markings. This album will also include the original inner sleeves. The inner sleeves are in outstanding shape. The LP Gatefold Cover grades conservatively at Near Mint. The gatefold cover has a very minor crease on top left corner, but is otherwise in remarkable shape. The LP's have been professionally cleaned on a VPI 16.5 and then placed in brand new white inner sleeves. The gatefold cover will arrive housed in a new poly sleeve. The winning bidder will pay shipping. I have specified media mail shipping at a price of $5.00, and I will not ship outside of the United States. The LP's will be packaged outside of the gatefold album. Both the LP's and the gatefold cover will be packaged between two cardboard inserts in an LP mailer.
