DESCRIPTION: Various artists including Sabbath, May Blitz and Affinity- The Vertigo Annual 1970. 1ST UK press with large swirl labels and gate fold sleeve. Plain white inners. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6657001. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK. CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG/G+. Vinyls are both clean with a decent sheen and some hairlines. Played passages of both discs tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds around VG. Plays through without jumps, skips, sticks. Music is prominent and loud throughout with some ticks and a trickle of background sound in quietest passages and intros. Original sleeve retains decent shape and could nearly scrape into a VG. It is firm and square and has moderate edge wear, moderate corner wear and moderate creasing. Inside of gate fold is very clean. It has a small sticker removal mark on the front sleeve next to the original Vertigo price sticker and a small price sticker on front sleeve that will not come off. Clean labels apart from some colouring in on Disc 2 side A- check out the photos. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER HARD ROCK//PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
