Description
Early UK press of The Wailers "Catch A Fire" released on Island Records in 1973 (ILPS 9241, a3/a4 matrices).
Vinyl: The record has a slight warp but this doesn't affect play and it plays through without any skips or jumps. Generally the audio is really good but please note the following: Side 1: there are a couple of significant scratches/marks on the opening track Concrete Jungle resulting in a dozen or more audible clicks during the track. The rest of the side plays through without any issues. Side 2: plays well until the final track, Midnight Raver. Here there is a visible line across the track but this doesn't have any audible impact other than a couple of clicks right at the start of the track.
Sleeve: Worn, opening hinge missing & edgewear - please see photos for further detail
The labels have some spindle marks. Black inner sleeve as shown in photos.
So certainly not pristine example but still a good playable original copy of a classic album. The record will be sent in protective packaging. Thanks for looking, any questions please just ask.
