The Wake — Here Comes Everybody + Singles 1983-1987 (Captured Tracks Reissue Box Set, CT-152)
Captured Tracks reissue of the Scottish post-punk/jangle band’s Factory Records-era output — the “Here Comes Everybody” LP paired with the Singles 1983-1987 comp, packaged together in a Constructivist-style box (that Malevich-esque red square and scattered geometry on the cover is doing a lot of work). Two LPs total, each on its own label design, housed in a deluxe outer box with the CT-152 catalog card included.
Tracklist highlights: O Pamela, Send Them Away, Sail Through, Melancholy Man on side one; Talk About The Past, Of The Matter, Gruesome Castle, Pale Spectre on the singles disc.
Condition: mint/unplayed, still in factory-fresh shrink-adjacent condition — box shows only minimal shelf wear on the corners, records unspun.
For anyone building out a Captured Tracks or UK post-punk reissue collection, this is one of the harder-to-find complete sets — most listings only have one LP, not the full box.
