The Walker Brothers 1978 The Electrician b/w Den Haague 7" GTO
Rare opportunity to acquire this picture sleeve copy of GTO Records' ambitious Scott Walker single. Purchased new in Liverpool in early 1978 by Julian Cope as punk was coming to a close, the disc was kept safe in a thick polythene bag, ensuring that it has remained in clean condition. Nevertheless, the cover has suffered some bending at the bottom left hand corner, some rubbing to the top and bottom, and small amounts of disc wear show through the sleeve here and there (see photo). Both sides of the disc itself have just been played, revealing some extraneous noise on the A-side and considerable crackle throughout the excellent B-side 'Den Haague'.
