Description
The Walker Brothers – Nite Flights, original 1978 UK 1st Press Stereo LP on GTO Records, catalogue GTLP 033. A dark, forward-thinking Art Rock album that marked a dramatic shift from the group’s earlier orchestral pop, and is now widely regarded as a cult classic. Featuring the influential tracks Nite Flights and The Electrician, the album blends experimental arrangements, brooding atmospheres, and increasingly avant-garde songwriting led by Scott Walker. Hugely influential on post-punk and alternative artists, and often cited as a precursor to Scott Walker’s later solo work.
This copy is the UK first pressing, housed in the original gatefold sleeve, pressed at the CBS Aston Clinton plant with Strawberry Mastering lacquer cuts.
This record has been accurately graded to the Goldmine standard and hand cleaned with professional equipment for optimal playback performance.
